In Need of Some Clarification
So I just recently purchased GW: Trilogy (kinda behind the times I know) and I was trying to read up on good Assassin builds, etc. etc. but I keep getting lost in a sea of acronyms and discussions about weapon types with strange names despite the otherwise high quality of the stickies. So Im looking for a little bit of help/explanation starting from square 1.
Im basically looking to play PvE, and it seems like there are two schools of thought on how to do this:
1.) A Death Blossom/Mobieus Strike combo
2.) A permanent Shadow Form build
However it seems that the SF idea has been nerfed recently? Is it possible to get through the normal and hard modes with a DB/Mobieus build? What are good secondary professions to pick up for each build? Seems that the SF mandates that you choose Elementalist now?
I normally hate doing these kinds of posts as I know the information is probably out there...Im just too new to digest it for all its worth. Any basic insights would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Moebius Strike/Death Blossom is a legendary combo with assassins and is used almost everywhere in a group. It has good single target and AoE damage if the enemies are bunched up correctly.
Shadow form is used either for solo farming or replacing the Obsidian Flesh tank in tank'n'spank groups.

DB / Moebius Spamming is what we call " Hi .. kthxbai " Enemies don't last long if you're an assassin with a DB / Moebius Build.
[Shadow Form] <- OP ( Over Powered )
Shadow Form used to be a broken skill ( which also means too damn godly ) for farming.
It gave many assassins an advantage over other professions in farming. Basically, the current Shadow Form has been made to just maintainable. Thus giving SF Farmers lesser energy to use on skills which results in a longer time to kill foes.
@kostolomac, by tank'n'spank, you mean PUGS ?

Interesting...I'll probably be playing in a group w/ a group of henchmen most of the time so Im leaning toward the Mob/DB build.
Is there a good secondary profession to pick up that compliments this?
And just out of curiosity...is it possible to attain enough skill points to have both the Mob/DB AND SF builds at your disposal?
Thanks guys.

As far as I know guilds run cryway too, and cryway is tank'n'spank 2.0
And there are rare occasions when pugs run a random team build.

Then why do it? This information is covered in numerous places, least of all the Assassin Sticky. The Search Function is also very helpful.
You're just asking which one of two builds to use, which has already been discussed to death.
